The platform was built for US roofing operations teams managing estimation, production, crews, materials, and customer communication across multiple projects.
Roofing estimation previously depended heavily on manual measurements and spreadsheet-based pricing. Estimators had to measure properties, calculate material requirements, reference manufacturer pricing, and prepare quotes manually.
The platform brought those steps into one connected workflow, using digital roof measurement and estimation, a cost engine connected to manufacturer catalogs, and operational tools for crews and customers.

Estimating used to take days, and two estimators could look at the same roof and price it differently. Customers had almost no view of what they were paying for. Now an address gives us measurements in minutes, pricing follows the same rules every time, and customers can see where their project stands.
An estimate started with a site visit. Someone measured the roof by hand, adjusted for slope, looked up shingles, underlayment, and accessory products in supplier catalogs, then worked out labor and cost. That took days, and two estimators pricing the same roof could arrive at different numbers.
The process also created a disconnect between estimating and production. Once a project was approved, crews and operations teams needed information that had already been gathered during the sales process.
Leads, proposals, active jobs, crew hours, and customer questions sat in separate spreadsheets and tools, so anything that changed had to be entered again by hand.

The result was a fragmented workflow where estimating, production, and customer communication moved at different speeds.
TechnBrains rebuilt the work as a single sequence. An address produces roof measurements. Measurements produce material quantities. Quantities and labor rules produce a price. An approved price becomes a project with assigned crews, and the customer follows the same record from proposal to completion.
A customer or sales representative enters a property address. The system retrieves satellite imagery for that location, and computer vision models read the roof structure, returning area, dimensions, pitch, and complexity as numbers the estimate can use.
Measurements convert into material quantities for shingles, underlayment, adhesive products, ridge components, and related items. Labor rates, supplier costs, product selection, roof complexity, and site conditions live in one price list instead of individual spreadsheets.
Inquiries arrive as leads, appointments are scheduled, and proposals are generated from the calculated estimate. An approved proposal opens a project. Sales and admin teams work from the same record instead of passing files between tools.
Field employees check in from the mobile app, and location checks confirm they are at the assigned job site. Attendance, leave, hours, and payroll sit next to the project record, with performance reporting for managers.
Customers review their contract, see the cost breakdown, choose materials and manufacturers, and follow project milestones and crew activity as the job moves.
The chain runs in one direction. An address returns satellite imagery. Computer vision models read the roof and output geometry. Geometry converts to material quantities using product rules. Quantities meet labor rates and pricing rules to produce a quote. The quote becomes a proposal, and an approved proposal becomes the project record that crews and customers both work from.
Each step writes to the same PostgreSQL records, so changing a material updates quantity, price, and proposal together. .NET services hold the calculation rules in one place rather than in each screen. React covers the office tools and React Native covers job-site use, where crews need attendance and task updates to work from a phone.
Estimates that took days are produced in minutes. Lead-to-project activation runs at about 5 days. Managers see crew attendance and job progress next to costs instead of chasing them, and customers can check materials and status themselves.
